Welding Modules

The Toyota car plant in Altona Victoria one of the largest investment of car manufacturing of Japanese cars in Australia. The initial contract of 1.2m was awarded to Primaweld on a tender competitive base in 1991. A second contract was awarded to Primaweld in January 1993. This contract was completed in July 1993. Primaweld's responsibility was to supply and fabricate 52 welding modules required for Toyota's Manufacturing Plant. The contract included the supply of all materials (mostly stainless steel) including valves, fabrication, NDT, Hydrostatic testing, pre-commissioning and delivery to site.
