Mechanical installation and pipe fabrication (SITE)
In mid-2005, Primaweld was awarded a contract to fabricate piping spools, both Stainless and Low Temperature Carbon Steel for use in the construction of the Otway Gas Plant. The fabrication would take place in the Primaweld Workshop. In November 2005, the first crew of 12 men were mobilised on site for the installation of the freshly fabricated pipe spooling. By Mid 2006, after more recruitment, numbers reached 120 personnel, with more areas released for Primaweld to install. The work packages were fully managed and executed by Primaweld Personnel.
